of the 22nd July last, I am directed to inform you that on the 19th of January, a reply was received to the reference made to Her Majesty's Government on the subject

"that letter was received, which reply is of such a nature as to enable His Excellency the Governor in Council to grant to you, on the terms proposed by the Land Committee, the usual Leases for the several lots of Land in your possession."
